COVID-19 UPDATE: I offer a hybrid of both virtual and in-person sessions depending on individual needs. If you are interested in working with me, please complete the contact form below. Thank you!

WELCOME

I believe clients deserve a space where they can be unapologetically seen, heard, and witnessed. I bring this belief into my work to allow clients to experience and explore whatever they are carrying with them. This work is done on a foundation of collaboration, curiosity, trust, and compassion. I understand the complexity of human beings and take careful note in meeting individual needs. I look forward to meeting you and beginning the journey of unpacking.

ABOUT

experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from DePaul University. I have worked in various mental health settings with a range of populations. I have training and experience with a wide range of issues which include: trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, sexual orientation, gender identity, identity exploration, stress, and burnout.

THERAPY

I am a queer therapist that practices from a strengths-based, anti-oppressive, and relational framework as a clinician. I am trained in Level I + Level II Sensorimotor Psychotherapy which is a somatic practice focused on trauma processing and healing through building consciousness to your body memory. I incorporate this practice into traditional talk therapy as a body connected practice in promoting a rooted sense of self.

APPOINTMENT

SCHEDULING

I am currently scheduling Tuesday - Friday for 55 minute sessions. I can provide longer sessions upon request.

FEES

I believe mental health services should be accessible to all. I offer sliding scale options for those who could benefit from this service. I’m happy to discuss a rate that feels comfortable during our initial call.

$175 - individual Therapy

INSURANCE

I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice PPO and Aetna. For all other insurance plans, I am considered “out-of-network.” I will provide a monthly statement for you to submit for reimbursement. I would encourage a call to your insurance and ask the questions below around reimbursement.

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services?

  • If so, is there a deductible that needs to be met before I can start obtaining reimbursement?

  • If so, how much is this deductible and how far am I in meeting it for this calendar year?

  • What percentage of my services will you reimburse for once my deductible is met?

  • What is the process to submit for out-of-network reimbursement?

CONSULTATION

I am currently gathering interest on offering a training and/or consultation group on eating disorders to clinicians. I was the Eating Disorder Program Coordinator at Timberline Knolls which served as mentoring a team of Eating Disorder Specialists, developing eating disorder group programming, and providing education to staff around eating disorders. I would like to continue to share my knowledge for those that are interested. If this is something that sounds interesting to you or someone that you know, please contact me.
